“Cultivating Innocence”
Let's uncover some new reason for delight where an indifferent observer would not recognize the jewel-like beauty that is air.
If you care too much how your painting will turn out it will never surprise you. Instead learn to quiet yourself into not knowing and hopefully discover something you didn’t grasp previously. Sometimes, it's dangerous when you know too much. You tend to make formulas and patterns that, while the painting may be skilled, they never take you to a new place. You must be willing to make sacrifices. Join me into an investigation into light and the landscape. We will explore ways to help you find new ways for thinking while exploring the poetry that lies inside.
Pave the way to create works with a fresh individual vision - yours.
*This course is best for the artist with a secure knowledge of the formal skills of working with pastel.
